These Terms govern the use of vcityrentals.com and any booking made with VCity Rentals (“we”, “us”). By using our website or placing a booking, you agree to these Terms.

2) Eligibility to Rent

You must meet the requirements shown on the vehicle page and/or at checkout. Unless stated otherwise:

• Minimum age: 25

• Full UK/EU driving licence (Category B) held for at least 2 years

• Valid ID and proof of address may be required

We reserve the right to refuse a booking if eligibility or verification is not satisfied.

3) Booking & Confirmation

• A booking request is not guaranteed until confirmed by us.

• Prices, deposits, and fees are shown at checkout and may vary by vehicle, date, and availability.

4) Deposits / Pre-authorisation

• A security deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required before handover.

• The amount depends on the vehicle and risk profile and will be communicated before the rental starts.

• Release time depends on your card provider and may take several days.

5) Vehicle Handover & Return

• Collection/delivery time and location must be agreed in advance.

• The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and condition (fair wear and tear accepted).

• Late returns may incur additional charges.

6) Use of Vehicle

You must:

• drive/ride responsibly and in accordance with UK law;

• not use the vehicle for racing, track use (unless explicitly agreed), off-road use (unless agreed), illegal purposes, hire/reward (sub-rental), towing (unless agreed), or carrying prohibited goods;

• not allow anyone else to drive/ride unless approved as an additional driver.

7) Fines, Tolls, Damage & Cleaning

• You are responsible for fines, penalties, tolls, congestion charges, and any offences during the rental.

• You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss of keys, tyres, wheels, and any required cleaning due to misuse.

• We may charge your payment method on file in accordance with the rental agreement and applicable law.

8) Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy (see “Return and refund policy”).

9) Website Use

• Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, scrape data, or interfere with security.

• Content (logos, images, text) is owned by VCity Rentals or licensors and must not be reused without permission.

10) Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that:

• We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., missed flights, accommodation).

• Our responsibility is limited to the rental charges paid for the affected booking, except where the law requires otherwise.

11) Privacy

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
